The I COMMIT CHALLENGE is a response to anti-black violence. It is not enough to simply demand justice. We must commit to doing better. We must commit to structural change, and we can start with small every day actions to challenge our beliefs, behaviors, and institutions. What are you willing to commit to?

Whether it be reading anti-racist authors, following anti-racist social media accounts, or simply naming and challenging whiteness and white privilege as it appears in your daily life, we can all make a commitment today.

Let’s stop the vicious cycle of racism. If we engage in the challenge with a mindset to follow through, we can create real, lasting change.

Join us. Participate in the #ICommit Challenge today.

Make your #ICommit sign today, or download a sign here.

Step 1. Write on a piece of paper how you commit to being anti-racist, and naming and challenging your institutionalized privilege. At the bottom of your sign, please include your city/town and state, so we can see where the movement for change is!

Step 2. Take a photo with your sign.

Step 3. Send your photo to GoSociafy through DM on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to be included in our campaign video and featured on our website!

Step 4. Share your photo on social media. Make sure to be thoughtful, kind, and use #ICommit on your socials. Challenge 3 friends to take part in this challenge and share how they will commit to being anti-racist. Tag @gosociafy on Instagram and Twitter, or follow GoSociafy on Facebook for updates!
